OXFORD South & West: Saturday 18 April 2015 {NB NEW DATE!!)
Morning: The Queen Street area, with shops and former factory buildings, now converted into shops, new office buildings, Oxford Central Library, and the buildings of the Oxford Union.
Afternoon: The Tawney house beside one branch of the River Thames, new buildings in the former brewery area, former industrial buildings near Oxford Station, and ending at the enigmatic Seacourt Tower and Botley church.

Joining instructions: We shall meet at Bonn Square opposite to Oxford Central Library at 10.45am. You are advised to use the Park & Ride at Seacourt, off Oxford Western Bypass (the A34), as we shall end the tour near there. Alight from the bus at Oxford Castle stop (Castle mound is clearly visible) and walk eastwards on same side of the road beyond Oxfordshire County Hall to Bonn Square.
Buildings notes: will be issued by email on Thursday 26 March 2015; copies will be available on the day.
The date should avoid the hordes of bored children who inhabit central Oxford in the summer. The time should allow us to view Queen Street, a street of shops, before it gets too crowded.
